Spatial downscaling
The original daily data have been downscaled to 90 m spatial resolution using a simple lapse-rate correction method.
The monthly lapse rates are (from Jan to Dec): 0.45 0.50 0.58 0.62 0.65 0.65 0.65 0.65 0.60 0.55 0.50 0.45 "deg C/100m" (From: Rolland 2003).
Downscaled data have been aggregated to monthly resolution.
